Sports & Athletics Pathway Planning

For families navigating the world of youth sports, the decisions can be just as overwhelming as academic ones. Which sport — or sports — are the right fit for your child’s temperament, body, and development? When should they specialize? How do you balance athletic pursuits with academic priorities? And what does a realistic pathway look like for a child with genuine athletic potential?

This add-on brings a uniquely informed perspective to those questions. Led by Wes Davis — a former Division I athlete and experienced coach across multiple sports — this service helps families make intentional, developmentally appropriate decisions about their child’s athletic journey. We assess your child’s interests, physical development, and competitive readiness, and help you build a sports pathway that supports their growth as both an athlete and a whole person.

Whether your child is just starting out in organized sports or showing signs of serious potential, we help you navigate the landscape with clarity — avoiding burnout, over-specialization, and the costly mistakes that come from chasing the wrong path too early.

What’s included: one 60-minute family session, a written Sports & Athletics Pathway Plan with recommendations on sport selection, scheduling, and developmental milestones, and a 30-minute follow-up session.
